Mariah’s Maternity Session
It was a typical Central Texas Fall day when Mariah came in for the first session of her Belly to Baby Plan.
It was a little cloudy, but as we got her hair and makeup ready it got darker and began to look like it might rain. A cloudy day doesn’t usually scare me away from a photo session, so as soon as she was all done up we headed out to our cars. As soon as we got outside the sky opened up and it began pouring. Mariah’s Maternity Session was rained out.
We went back inside. I offered to do some studio shots, but could see she really wanted he session to take place outdoors. So we took a few shots and I offered for her to come back a few days later.
When she came back to the studio, we did hair and makeup again. She chose the Harper Gown in hunter green this time instead of the wine she wore on the stormy day. It was a gorgeous fall day and these remain some of my favorite outdoor portraits.
