My daughter has been doing dance classes at The Dance Works in Round Rock since she was about three. This year was her fifth recital with this studio. I’ve done her dance portrait every year for the past four. These are fun sessions I set up before we head in to her dress rehearsal the week before the recital. This is a good time to do them, because she’s fully dressed with hair and make-up. Often my favorites are images of her being a little silly.
Last year’s portraits are some of my favorites. I love the way her red polka dot costume looks in black and white. The routine was set to “It’s a Small World” and the girls were all so cute.
This year Kayleigh had her first Jazz class and her little Rhumba skirted costume was so colorful and fun. I can’t wait to see what next year’s costume might be.
