BOOK YOUR SESSION
After the consultation, you can secure your session by paying the retainer and signing our session agreement, which reserves your spot on our calendar and ensures a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

PHOTO SESSION DAY
On the day of your photo session, simply show up and be prepared to be pampered with professional hair and makeup. Valerie will guide you through your session with expert posing and direction to create amazing pregnancy photos that beautifully capture this special moment in your life.

Together, we'll review and select the best photos from your maternity session to display in your home and feature in your photo album.

Hi! I'm Valerie Steinkoenig
I own and operate the Valerie Kay Photography.
As a mother of two, I understand the importance of capturing those special family moments. At Valerie Kay Photography, I specialize in documenting your family's milestones, from the joy of maternity to the magic of newborns and beyond.
In 2017 I moved the studio out of my home into a new studio in North Austin and in early 2021 we moved to new location on North Lamar Blvd. Most recently we've relocated to 15912 Ranch Road 620 North ste 203. This new space is a big upgrade from our previous location and we can't wait to show you around!
I studied photography at Austin Community College in The Dept. of Professional Photography, where I received the Certified Digital Assistant and Certified Photographic Artist certificates. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Texas Professional Photographer’s Association, as well as the Austin Professional Photographer’s Association. These memberships provide me with access to cutting-edge techniques, industry insights, and an extensive network of like-minded professionals. I am a Certified Professional Photographer. In 2021 I earned the Professional Photographer's Associations Master of Photography Designation. I strive to provide my clients with exceptional service and stunning photographs that will be treasured for generations to come.
