When is the best time to photograph a Newborn?
The best time to photograph a newborn is between 5 and 14 days. During this time baby is still very sleepy and less sensitive to sound and touch. As the babies pass the two week mark, they become more sensitive, alert, and tend to be less flexible. While Newborn Sessions are available throughout the first 8 weeks not all babies older than two weeks are able to be posed in all of the adorably curly, sleepy poses.
What if I book a Newborn session and my baby comes early or late?
Babies rarely come on their due date. All Newborn sessions are scheduled tentatively. Once baby arrives we will adjust the scheduled appointment. Once your session retainer fee is paid you are guaranteed a session.
