This year, we moved into our stunning new studio in North Austin! The space was designed to provide a luxurious, stress-free experience for every maternity session, complete with professional hair and makeup, a curated wardrobe of gorgeous gowns, and expert styling to celebrate the beauty of expecting moms.
Celebrating Over 100 New Moms & Moms-to-Be
2024 was a banner year for maternity photography at Valerie Kay Photography. We had the privilege of photographing over 100 moms-to-be, capturing their radiant glow, strength, and excitement as they awaited their little ones. From classic studio portraits to themed sessions like our festive Christmas-inspired shoots, every session was a unique celebration of motherhood.
Documenting Sweet New Beginnings
This year wasn’t just about maternity photography—we also celebrated the arrival of so many newborns! Our newborn sessions have been a favorite among Austin families, offering custom setups, timeless poses, and an emphasis on creating heirloom-quality images that perfectly complement maternity portraits.
Holiday Magic with Santa Charles
The holiday season brought extra cheer as we welcomed Santa Charles to our studio for the first time. Families loved the opportunity to pair stunning maternity and family portraits with festive memories, and we’re already planning his return for next year!

Our passion is creating art that families can hold onto forever. This year, we hand-printed hundreds of fine art images, designed beautiful albums, and transformed maternity portraits into wall art that celebrates the journey of motherhood in its most elegant form.
